Burton L. Wentz Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Burton L. Wentz of Bucyrus, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 29, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Jr. Wentz and Martha Naomi Wentz (Dille); his son-in-law Chris "Duffy" Dyer; and his siblings, Gretchen Payton, Charlene Jones, Ted Wentz and Sheryl Cooper.
He is survived by: his children, Burton Wentz Jr. (Diane), Brent Wentz (Jamie), Bonita Dyer, Bridgette Cole, Babette Green (Mike), Rebecca Freeman, Jon Freeman (Susan), Amy Freeman and Jennifer Kagel (Brad); his siblings, Merle Wentz and Sharon Cooper (Lannie); and his siblings-in-law, Walter Jones and Monique Wentz. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wise Funeral Service (129 W Warren St, Bucyrus, OH 44820).
If desired, donations can be made payable to either God's Bible School or to Humane Society Serving Crawford County.
