Martha Kristin Powers-Helphrey Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha Kristin Powers-Helphrey (Buckeye Lake, Ohio), who passed away on February 24, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne B. Wheeler and Joan Martha Wheeler (Dadosky). She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Helphrey; her children, Jennifer Spray (Matthew), Michael Helphrey and Michelle Nichols (Matthew); her grandchildren, Ryan, Lucas, Emmalee, Lillian Spray, Jordan Helphrey (Natalie), Allison Julian, Hannah and Haley Nichols; and her great grandchildren, Sophia, Brantley Spray, Matthew, Mackenzie, Maxmus Helphrey, Jack and Emma Julian.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church (5133 Walnut Rd, Buckeye Lake, OH 43008). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (11539 National Rd SW, Pataskala, OH 43062).
The family encourages those who would like to honor Kris' memory to consider donations to the food pantry at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Buckeye Lake.
