He is survived by: his wife Doris Weidner (Bauer); his children, Shirley Greene (Steven), James Weidner (Amy), Angela Pitts (Brian), Lawrence Weidner (Lori) and Robert Weidner; his grandchildren, Michelle of James, Stephanie, Andrew, Danielle, Gared and Sarah; his great grandchildren, Logan of James, Cecilia, Lucille, Gabriella and Liam; and his cousin Archbishop Daniel Pilarczyk. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of James to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church or VFW Post 1388 in Buckeye Lake.
