He was predeceased by: his former wife Fannie Jean; his parents, James Russell and Myrtle Regina Small (Byers); and his siblings, Mildred, Stella, Lena, Nina, Genevieve, Edward, Robert and Roscoe.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his children, Tammy Wolverton (Bryan), Melinda Small, Frederick Thomas Small III (Lisa) and Harry W Small; his grandchildren, Kelly Gates (William), Jason Wolverton (Desiree), Felicia Shriner (David), Stefan Small, Kristina Boggs and Renee Simpson (Luke); and his great grandchildren, Aundrea, Benjamin, Vincent and Owen. He is also survived by Many nieces and nephews.
