It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Virgil Wyse of Bryan, Ohio, born in West Unity, Ohio, who passed away on January 27, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Galen Wyse; his parents-in-law, Don and Mary Crites; his brother Chuck Wyse; and his grandson Anthony Wyse.

He is survived by: his mother Margaret Wyse (Stark) of Bryan; his wife Joan L. Carroll (Crites); his children, Dennis Wyse (Tammy Wernsing) of Hamilton, J. Scott Wyse (Lisa Nye) of Edgerton, Vickie Grimm (Doug) of Bryan and Colby Carroll (Becky) of Napoleon, Ohio.; and his brothers, David Wyse of Ida, Norman Wyse of West Unity, Laronda Wyse, Ernie Munson (Marie), Don Crites (Diane) and Jerry Crites (Kathy). He is also survived by his seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Due to the ongoing pandemic restrictions, the family will receive friends while observing social distancing precautions.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the Union Chapel Church of God or the Williams County Historical Society.
