It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vincent Stark Sr. of Bryan, Ohio, born in Blakeslee, Ohio, who passed away on April 28, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Stark and Clara Stark (Thiel); his wife Judith A. Benedict; his daughter Suzanne Duman; and his grandchildren, Caleb Day, Josh and Jesse Hellard.
He is survived by: his former spouse Muryel Karnes; his children, Dianna Helmsing of Ft. Wayne, Elaine Bowers (Dudley) of Spokane, Betty Hoshock (Tom) of Defiance, Rena Buchanan of Bryan, Jim Stark (Jan) of Bryan, Darlene Stark of Rotunda West, Anne Gonzalez (Julian) of Granbury, Faye Willis (Mike) of West Unity, Vince Stark, Jr. (Julie) of Corpus Christi and Martin Stark of Port Charlotte, Florida; and his sister Rita Hancock of Florida. He is also survived by 33 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, those attending services are required to wear face masks or facial coverings and observe social distancing.
The family asks those remembering Vinnie to make memorial contributions to St. Patrick Catholic Church, Hospice of Northwest Ohio, or a Charity of the Donor's Choice.
