It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tivurcio Vasquez Jr. (Bryan, Ohio), born in Uvalde, Texas, who passed away on August 3, 2024, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Tivurcio Vara Vasquez, Sr.; his niece Christiana Alicia Vasquez; and his stepfather Reynaldo Angel "Rey" Galvan. He is survived by: his mother Josefa Najar Vasquez of Uvalde; his sons, David Lee Vasquez (India Kenner) of Edgerton, Jose Luis Vasquez of Bryan and Adam Vasquez (Lynzee Elzey) of Bryan; his adoptive daughter Bella Vasquez of Defiance, Ohio; the mother of his children Ana Vasquez of Defiance, Ohio; his siblings, Jose Vasquez (Melissa Shutts) of Stryker, Dan N. Vasquez of San Antonio, Rosa Angel Mason (Michael) of Batesville and Cynthia Vasquez (Corey Ruslink) of Lewisville, Texas; his cousins, Delia Martinez of Grand Rapids and Patricio Ramos of Uvalde; his nieces and nephews, Alicia Mason of Batesville, Angela Mason of Uvalde, Shauwna Casares of Uvalde, Polly Mason of Batesville, Carley Martinez of Uvalde, Katya Allaire Vasquez (Nathan Wayne Miller) of Edgerton, Ohio, Naqui Vasquez of Waterloo and Ezekiel Vasquez of Waterloo; his close friend John Daniel Gonzales of Abilene; his friends, Manuel "Manny" Hernandez of Uvalde and Richard Sotelo of Uvalde; his niece Emily Shutts; his nephew Nicholas Shutts; his sister-in-law Monica McAfee of Bryan, Ohio; his grandchildren, Ezrahleigh Vasquez of Edgerton, Sophia Vasquez of Edgerton, Jose Vasquez of Edgerton and Isabella Vasquez of Bryan Ohio; and his stepgrandchildren, Emileigh Kenner of Edgerton, Layla Elzey, Adam Elzey and Sally Elzey.
