He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Hurd and Martha F. Hurd (Muehlfeld); and his daughters, Kelly Jo and Shelly Jo Hurd. He is survived by: his wife Vicki L. Young; his daughters, Michele Hisle of Bellbrook and Nicole Kinderdine of Centerville, Ohio; his grandchildren, Kelli Jo Sneed (Bryce), Todd Kinderdine, Kyle and Lacie Hisle; his great grandchild Elowyn Kinderdine; and his siblings, Ray Hurd (Monica) of Edon, Rick Hurd (Mitzi) of Kingsport, Cathy Kimpel (Fred) of Edgerton, Jane Mancillas of Maumee, Beth Brown (Mark) of Union, Peg Sanders (Dave) of Kendallville, Jackie Sheffield (Scott) of Tampa and Laura Marty (Dave) of Clyde, Ohio..
