He was predeceased by: his mother Ruth Diehl (Leslie); his wife Caroline P. Lee; and his daughter-in-law Anita Diehl. He is survived by: his children, Reverend Stanley T. Diehl of Taneytown, Maryland and Trudy L. Fulton (Calvin) of Thompson Station, Tennessee; and his grandchildren, Heidi VanScoyoc (Tate), Christopher Diehl (Jennifer), Heather Biggus, Ruth Anne Fracassi, Kari Thompson (Jared), Scott Fulton (Brianne) and Mark Fulton (Vivian). He is also survived by twenty-three great-grandchildren.
