He is survived by: his mother Deb Smith, Sr. (Pease) of Bryan; his son Shane Smith (Kimberly) of Bryan; his grandchildren, Kaylynn, Shayna, Jacob and Noah; his siblings, Tana Steckly (Randy) of Hicksville and Shawn Bellon (Kristen) of Utah; his close friend Robin Forrester of Montpelier; his nieces, Elizabeth Davies and Jennifer Clevenger; his nephew Jerry Mills; his aunts, Pamela Chesnut of Fort Wayne and Rebecca Langin (Mike) of Fort Wayne; and his uncle Jeff Pease (Connie) of Blakeslee.
