He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Schutte and Helen Schutte (Mills); and his son Patrick Michael Schutte. He is survived by: his wife Janet E. Butler; his son James Schutte (Tina) of West Unity; and his siblings, Norman Schutte of Morenci, Charlie Schutte of New Jersey and Carolyn Schutte of Marietta. He is also survived by three grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
