He was predeceased by: his parents, Tomas Alabata and Maria Alabata (Vasquez). He is survived by: his wife Roxanne R. Fedderke; his children, Kevin Alabata of Bryan, Cathy Enriquez (Doug Herman) of Hamilton and Susie Ebersole (Tony) of Henderson, Nevada; and his stepdaughters, Tamara Ryman (Ronald) of Bryan and Michelle Friesen (Kevin) of Bryan.

Memorials are requested to the American Kidney Foundation.
