She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmor Jermiah and Evelyn Ruth Storrs (Riegsecker); her children, Ruthie Suydam and Rex Suydam; her siblings, Nancy Bently and Elmor; her grandson Dane Treesh; and her great grandchild Zahirah Webb.
She is survived by: her spouse Vernon C. Merrifield; her children, Ray C. Suydam (Nola) of Bryan, Robbie D. Suydam (Kate) of Tazewell and Rhonda Suydam of Bryan; and her sisters, Judy Hulbert (Bob) of West Unity, Sharon Appelton (Dick) of Adrian and Connie Reed of Toledo. She is also survived by her children gained from her union with Vernon, Suzan Q. Hensley, of Bryan, Heidi J. Treesh, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Timothy P. G. (Jackie) Merrifield, of West Unity, Ohio, and Scott (Christy) Merrifield, of Bryan; eighteen grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
