He was predeceased by: his parents, Aaron Ruihley and Donna Ruihley; and his siblings, Kay and Ronald Ruihley. He is survived by: his wife Carla Newcomb of Bryan; his sons, Joshua Ruihley (Sarah Harkins) of Ottawa and Brody Ruihley (Monisa) of Oxford, Ohio; his grandsons, Liam, Silas, Perry Ruihley of Oxford and Cameron Harkins-Ruihley of Ottawa, Canada; his brother Gerald Ruihley (Claudia); his sister-in-law Sharon Marvin (Steve); his father-in-law Richard Newcomb; his nieces, Leslie Ruihley (Amy Jones), Angie Roth (Todd) and Betsy Vaughn (Mike); and his nephew Adam Ruihley (Erica).
