He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edward and Helen Elizabeth Gallagher (Smythe); his brother Charles E. Gallagher, Jr.; and his brother-in-law Joseph Naegle. He is survived by: his wife Karen K. Kampe; his sons, David Charles Gallagher (Lauria) of Oak Park and Daniel Thomas Gallagher (Jolyn) of Delaware, Ohio; his grandchildren, Dylan, Brody Gallagher of Oak Park and Grayson Gallagher of Delaware, Ohio; and his siblings, Margaret Neagle of Fairview Park, Mary Wenger (Donald) of Pepper Pike, Ohio and John Brian Gallagher (Ann) of Houston, Texas..

Ralph's life will live on with his gift of organ donation. Memorials are requested to Bryan Area Foundation or to Trinity Lutheran Church, Bryan Ohio.
