She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Flink and Gertrude Flink (Olsen); her husband Bernard Chapman; her daughter Janet Fehlen; and her son-in-law Larry Clappe.
She is survived by: her daughter Susan Clappe of Bryan, Ohio; her grandsons, Vincent of Bryan, Ohio and Wesley Clappe of Bryan, Ohio; her siblings, Lois Sherbinow of Marquette, Christine Wyrick of Mason City, Carol Mertens (Tom) of Green Bay, Donna Linley (Tim) of West Richmond, Washington, William Flink (Gloria) of Sun City, Robert Flink (Candace) of Minneapolis and Mark Flink (Helene Berman) of London Ontario, Canada; and her son-in-law Mike Fehlen.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, those attending services are asked to observe social distancing and keep their visit brief.
The family asks those remembering Mabel to make memorial contributions to First Presbyterian Church, Bryan.
