She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert H. Burkhart and Laura Burkhart (Lutz); her husband Wilbur Steele; her son Gary Webster Steele; and her siblings, Hazel Hutto, Donald, Lewis, Blair and Owen Burkhart.
She is survived by: her children, Drew A. Steele of Bryan, Gene Steele of Bryan and Pam Shaffer; and her grandchildren, Dr. Tawni Cashon (Ryan) of Westerville and Drew Robert Shaffer (Mariah) of Bryan.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions be made to First Brethren Church, 13050 County Road C, Bryan, Ohio, 43506.
