Leon J. Gearhart Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon J. Gearhart of Bryan, Ohio, born in Angola, Indiana, who passed away on September 27, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Gearhart and Evelyn Gearhart (VanZile); and his sister Janet Gearhart. He is survived by: his wife Deborah M. High; his children, Amy Miller (Ryan) of Bryan and Steven Gearhart (Emily) of Nappenne, Indiana; his grandchildren, Jack, Tucker Miller, Trenton Cooper, Natalie and Shelby Gearhart; and his brother Lon Gearhart (Carol Lepper) of Fort Wayne. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family requests memorial donations to the St. Patrick Catholic School Endowment Fund or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
