He was predeceased by: his parents, William Idle and Orpha Idle (Dellinger); and his siblings, Howard Idle, Leota Fowler, Thelma Robfogel, Charlotte Williams and Mildred Mauck.
He is survived by: his wife Flo Ann Idle of Bryan, Ohio; his children, Deb Kreger (Pastor George) of Bryan, Pastor Steve Idle (Jody) of Louisville and Joni Parks of Bryan; and also Rod Idle (Gay) of Chesterfield, Virginia.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, social distancing guidelines will be observed. Those who attend the visitation on Sunday, or the graveside service on Monday, are asked to wear a facial covering or face mask.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions be made to Bryan First Church of Christ, 129 North Walnut Street, Bryan, Ohio 43506 or to Elara Caring Hospice, 3425 Executive Parkway, Toledo, Ohio, 43606.
