She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Hohman and Mary Coleman; and her niece April Barchus (Little). She is survived by: her husband Jeffrey Handley; her children, Jason C. Persinger, Brian J. Persinger (Alex), Bobbie L. Sherman (Eric) and Jeanette A. Cooper (Chris); her grandchildren, Timothy, Chloe, Cameron, Ian and Chase; her siblings, Kimberly Schwalenberg (John), Kelly Rapp (Chuck), Kristin Schubach (Rodger) and Claude Hohman Jr.; and her pets, Cali, Deuce and Coco. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family, who will direct them to Green Springs Shelter.
