He was predeceased by: his father Robert Franklin; and his sister Kathy Porath. He is survived by: his mother Doris May Porath (Colon) of West Unity, Ohio; his daughter Angela Overly of Bryan; his grandchildren, Jacob of Defiance, Ohio and Kayla of Defiance, Ohio; and his sisters, Karen Stucky (Brad) of Bryan, Judy Karnes of Bryan and Connie Ruffer (Ned) of Coldwater, Michigan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
