He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Albert and Pauline Marie Stokes (Algeo). He is survived by: his children, Michelle Behnfeldt (Mike) of Ridgeville Corners, John Stokes, Jr. (Tracey) of Bryan and Jamie Prince (Mark) of Edon; his brothers, Harold Stokes (Terry) of Defiance, Joe Stokes (Sandy) of Bryan and Edwin Stokes (Chalo) of West Unity; and his significant other Vicki Evers of Pettisville. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
