It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Stokes of Bryan, Ohio, who passed away on September 12, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan Stokes to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell K. Mignery and Leora F. Mignery (Stauffer); and her husband John B. Stokes. She is survived by: her children, Linda Miller (Bill) of DeLand, David Stokes (Laurie) of Yorba Linda, Ann Marie Eicher (Steven) of Montpelier and Jeffrey Stokes (Michele) of Columbus, Ohio; her grandchildren, Amanda Balikian (Russell) of Alexandria, Jason Stokes (Amanda) of Yorba Linda, Trevor Eicher of Stryker and Adam Stokes (Noelle) of Anaheim, California; her great grandchildren, Caleb, Maya, Jonathan and Michael Balikian; and her brother John Mignery (Sarah) of Columbus, Ohio. She is also survived by three nieces; and three nephews.
Due to the ongoing pandemic restrictions, the family will receive friends while observing social distancing precautions.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to the music ministry at Wesley United Methodist Church.
