He was predeceased by: his parents, Randolph O. Bard and Naomi B. Bard (Moore); and his daughter Michelle Geary. He is survived by: his wife Joan A. Fette of Bryan; his daughter Pamela Steel (William) of Bryan; his grandchildren, James Steel (Ryley), Megan Kimbell (Joe), Melany Geary, Avery Geary and Joseph Geary; and his siblings, Kathy Martinez of Bryan and Richard Bard (Mary) of Naples, Florida..
