It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Gibbs (Bryan, Ohio), born in Hillsdale, Michigan, who passed away on June 30, 2019, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer James and Myrtie Lois Gibbs (Edinger); and his son Timothy Gibbs. He is survived by: his wife Georgette A. Maag (Koch); his sons, Jamie Gibbs and Shannon Gibbs of Bryan; his stepchildren, Jessica Davis (Jeff) of Oberlin, Kansas and Clayton Maag (Rachel) of Edon, Ohio; his granddaughter Catherine Gibbs of Montpelier; his stepgrandchildren, Marah of Oberlin, Sophia Davis of Oberlin, Ella of Edon and Audrey Maag of Edon; and his siblings, Gary Gibbs (Dee) of Belle Center, Ohio and Trudy Dietsch (Roger) of Montpelier.
