He was predeceased by: his parents, William Kroa and Naomi Kroa (Kretzar); his wives, Bernadine M. Harvey and Linda L. Taylor; his grandson James W. Kroa; and his siblings, William Kroa and Ruth Anderson.
He is survived by: his children, Connie Gerken (Scott) of Napoleon and David Kroa (Beth) of Niles, Michigan; his grandchildren, Kenzie Lawrence (Gil) and Kylie Gerken; and his great grandchild Calvin Krall.
