We bid farewell to Gertie E. Paxton of Bryan, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 24, 2024 at the age of 82. Gertie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sprow and Geraldine Sprow (Saurbeck); her husband Wilbur "Bud" Paxton; her grandson Ryan; and her siblings, Sheila Talarico, Penny Johnson, Sue Sprow, Robin Dekker, Clara LaRue Sprow, Gerald Sprow and Lynn Dell.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Paxton (Jewell) and Teresa Wines (David); her grandchildren, Tony, Lisa, James, Jacob, Scott, Cody and Zach; her great grandchild Jonathan; and her sisters, Betty Harmount and Iris Yagel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial donations to St. Jude Children's Research.
