He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Rettig and Marvel Rettig (Engel); his son Mark Rettig; and his granddaughter Venessa Kemarly. He is survived by: his wife Sue E. Martin (McCage) of Bryan, Ohio; and his children, Sherri Hanna of Jackson, Holli Kemarly of Liberty, Kelli Gross (Shawn) of Monclova, Laurel Clark (Dewayne) of West Unity, Kristin Bodle (Jason) of Springfield, Paul Martin of Maumee, Joseph Martin (Terri) of Pioneer, Kerre Bogard (Paul) of Ooltewah and Jonathan Martin (Rebecca) of Claremont, Florida.
