He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Eldridge and Gertrude Puffenberger (Hoover); and his siblings, Richard Wisman, Berneda Allshouse, Paulina Hollinger, Charlene Sostoi and Margaret Schnittker.
He is survived by: his children, Chris Kuehne (Mark Bever) of Bryan, Dan Puffenberger (Ariana) of Chattanooga, Nancy Nestor (Joe) of Mint Hill, Alan Puffenberger of Browns Summit, Dirk Puffenberger (Sheila) of Fremont and Dale Vaughn (Annette) of Jonesville, Michigan; and his sister Addie Boucher of Bryan.
