He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Bair; his daughters, Robin Chappuis (Michael) of Stryker, Kelly Chappuis (Ronald) of Stryker, Elaine Welden of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Wendy Welden of Fort Wayne, Indiana; his grandchildren, Tiffany Chappuis of Bryan, Kara Ayers (Aaron) of Bryan, Jared Chappuis (Hannah) of West Unity, Kendra Chappuis of Stryker, Kirsten Miller (Seth) of Culver, Krystal Chappuis of Bryan and Evan Chappuis of Liberty Center, Ohio; his great grandchildren, Simon Chappuis, Samuel, Benjamin Ayers, Eleanor, Margot, Louis and Malachi Chappuis; and his sister Audrey Tingley of Montpelier, Ohio..
