She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Kochel and Waneta Kochel (Sierer); her former husband Dean Mix; her husband Robert Bernath; her son Rick Mix; and her sister Wanda Kochel.

She is survived by: her sons, Raymond Mix of Bryan and Tim Mix (Dawn) of Bryan; and her sister Marylou McMillan (Sidney) of Junction, Ohio..
