He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Rath and Retha Rath (Pierce); and his son Michael Rath. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen M. Koeppe; his daughter Becky Tompkins (David) of Port St; and his siblings, Allan Rath (Mary) of Waukesha, Wisconsin and Joyce Radford (Ron) of Palm Coast, Florida.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
The family requests memorial donations to the Union Chapel Church of God or another organization of the donor's choice.
