He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wilbur McBride and Mabel McBride (Wieland); his spouse Kathy Whitman; his daughter Mindi Papania (Mike) of Stow; his grandsons, Mason Papania and Madox Papania; his brother Dave McBride (Cindy) of Bryan; his sister-in-law Karen Miller (Marv) of Fremont; his niece Kylee Uran (Matt) of Bryan; and his nephews, Kip McBride (Christy) of Georgia, Tate Miller (Melissa) of Perrysburg and Cory Miller (Marla) of Powell.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that those planning an expression of sympathy to consider memorial donations be given to the family so they can purchase a park bench and tree to be planted in the Recreation Park in Don's memory.
