He was predeceased by: his parents, Clint O. and Mary L. Towne (Kozuch); and his aunts, Janet Mattingly and Joanne Funk. He is survived by: his daughter Violet Mendoza (Marcos) of Coldwater, Michigan; his grandchildren, Jadazay Ledbetter, Jalianna Zepeda and Lidio Mendoza; his siblings, Juanita Towne of Bryan, Ohio, Lloyd Towne (Debra) of Bryan, Ohio, Brenda Lucas of Bryan, Ohio and Cheryl Pelland of Bryan, Ohio; and his nieces and nephews, Kiki, Terry, Amberlee, Raymond and Erica. He is also survived by his loving family and many friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home (206 N Lynn St, Bryan, OH 43506). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at the Fountain Grove Cemetery (1575 S Main St, Bryan, OH 43506).
