He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Maynard and Armilda Maynard (Dalton); his wife Josephine Mae Handy; and his granddaughter Autumn Vestal. He is survived by: his children, Cerelle Loftus of Defiance, Margo Straman of Bloomfield, Kevin Maynard (Teresa) of Bryan, Sabrina Armstrong (Eugene) of Napoleon, Andrea Vestal (Doug) of Enid, Kim Maynard of Bryan and Marquita Schaeffer (Frank) of Preussisch Oldendorf, Germany; and his sisters, Elizabeth Webb (Homer) of West Virginia and Geraldine Smith (Jesse) of West Virginia.
