He is survived by: his daughters, Caprice Schulte (Steve) of Celina and Sarah Vian (Scott) of Howell, Michigan; and his siblings, Alan Smith (Marilyn) of Bowling Brook, Rex Smith (Ella) of Bryan and Georgia Ann Patterson of Stryker. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.

Memorials are requested to Melbern United Methodist Church or CHP Hospice.
