She was predeceased by: her mother Bertha Holloway; her adoptive parents, Elmer Huffman and Lena Huffman; her husband Edmund G. Piper; and her siblings, Mary Ellen and Lewis.
She is survived by: her children, Anna Piper-Nelson of Bryan and Edmond L. Piper, III (Connie) of Stryker, Ohio; and her sister Dorothy. She is also survived by four grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren.
