He was predeceased by: his wife Geraldine (Murr); his children, Shelia, Sherrie Ann and Carl Lester; his parents, Russell and Zelma of Del Rio; and his siblings, Jack, Clayton, Chester, Bashie and Pauline.
He is survived by: his siblings, Graydon, Roy, Creed, Lessie Mae and Geneva; his children, Dale, June (Mitchell), Leslie and Angella (Walters); and his grandchildren, Adam, Lindsey (Darnall), Brian, Meggie (Lanum), Cory, Karli (Ziegler), Bethany, Tim Kenyon, Emily and Kale Bandy. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Unity Free Will Baptist Church (6658 Fry Rd, Middleburg Heights, OH 44130). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at the Westpark Cemetery (3942 Ridge Rd, Cleveland, OH 44144).
In lieu of flowers donations in his name are encouraged to The Salvation Army of Cleveland or Unity Free Will Baptist Church.
