She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Pinto and Lillian Pinto; her husband Virgil Markiewicz; and her brother Gerald Pinto (Shirley). She is survived by: her children, Gary Markiewicz (Margaret) and Lynn Davis (Lane); her grandchildren, Michelle Mitchell (Chris), Ahren Davis (Mandy), Krista Knapp (Dave), Kimberly Mehwald (Adom) and Joseph Markiewicz; her great grandchildren, Bennet Knapp, Blake Mitchell and Charleigh Mitchell; her brothers, Raymond Pinto (late Grace) and Joseph Pinto (Nina); and her cousin Kenneth Emch.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Ruth's memory to the Alzheimer's Association or Southwest Hospice.
