He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Beemer and Mildred Sherba Beemer; his wife Sylvia; his sons, Daniel Sherba and Brian Sherba (Debbie Mercier); and his sister Nancy Phan.
He is survived by: his children, Crystal Smith, David Sherba, Michele Sherba (Scott Prietz), Michael Sherba, Tammi Chaki (Louis) and Derek Sherba (Katrina); his grandchildren, Robert, Cindy, Catalina, Nathan, Lydia, Lillian, Audrey and Amiah; his great grandchild Kyren; his siblings, Richard Sherba (Patty), Barb Baldy (Jim), Bridget Brushaber (Ron) and Mary Jo Dziak (Andy); and his brother-in-law Jeff Phan.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Michael's memory to The COPD Foundation, 3300 Ponce de Leon Boulevard, Miami, Florida 33134.
