She was predeceased by: her parents, John Martin and Mollie Martin (Williams); her half-sister Janet Reynolds; and her daughter-in-law Stephanie Phillipp. She is survived by: her sons, Charles Phillipp (Allison) and Mark Phillipp (Lindsay Mora); and her grandchildren, Michael, Brayden, Thomas, Andrew, Liam and Hugo.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Addus Hope Foundation in Mary's honor, as a tribute to the compassionate care she received from Miracle City Hospice.
