With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James W. Hawke of Brunswick, Ohio, born in Columbia Station, Ohio, who passed away on October 24, 2024 at the age of 99. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James W. Hawke to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Hawke and Rachel Hawke; his wife Dorothy; and his granddaughter Brandy Elliott. He is survived by: his children, Dennis Hawke and Connie Betz; his grandchildren, Jamie Jonscher (Mark) and Erin Brown (Nick); and his great grandchildren, Jaxon, Tristan Jonscher, Lydia, Carter Brown, Evan and Chloe Chase.
The military honors was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 10:30 AM and at 10:45 AM at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery (10175 Rawiga Rd, Seville, OH 44273). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Fraternal Order of Eagles (South Hall) (696 Lafayette Rd, Medina, OH 44256).
The family suggests donations in his memory be made to Cleveland Clinic Hospice, 6801 Brecksville Rd #10, Cleveland, OH 44131.
