James Don Kodysz Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Don Kodysz of Brunswick, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 8, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though James Don may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James Don touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his son Jeffrey A. Kodysz (Elizabeth); his parents, Walter Kodysz and Mary Kodysz; and his brother Walter Kodysz. He is survived by: his wife Alice; his stepgrandchildren, Anthony and Christian LoPiccolo; and his sister-in-law Nadine Kodysz.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Ambrose Church (929 Pearl Rd, Brunswick, OH 44212).
