He was predeceased by: his parents, Erwin Nagel and Winifred Nagel; and his brother John. He is survived by: his wife Caroline; and his children, Ann Estremera, Joan Arnold (John), Thomas, James (Veronica), John (Marilyn), Susan Davis (Thomas), Theresa Anthony (George), Alice Nowosielski (James), Joseph (Gretchen) and Eileen Hadacek (Fred). He is also survived by his 32 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.
