He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Plitt and Celia Plitt (Polokiewicz); and his sister Marjorie Noga. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn (Konarske); his sons, Gregory Plitt, Douglas Plitt and Steven Plitt (Kaye); his grandchildren, Eric Spell (Kaylin), Zackary Plitt and Dougie Plitt Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Wyatt Spell, Emily Spell and Elenie Spell.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Ambrose Catholic Parish (929 Pearl Rd, Brunswick, OH 44212). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery (10175 Rawiga Rd, Seville, OH 44273).
