It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis F. Taras Sr. of Brunswick, Ohio, who passed away on July 31, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry S. Taras and Carla Taras (Christensen); and his brother Harry Taras. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Taras (Kortan); his children, Bonnie Shepard (Kenneth), Deborah Snyder (Christopher), Robert Taras (Natalie) and Dennis Taras Jr. (Heather); his grandchildren, Zachary Snyder (Maria), Noah Stevenson, Nathan Taras (Brianna), Christian Snyder, Emily Taras, Charlie Shepard, Sawyer Taras, Jenna Shepard, Madalyn Taras, Savannah Snyder and Leo Taras; his great grandchildren, Ronan Snyder and Riley Taras; and his brothers, Ronald Taras, Donald Taras (Lynne), Kevin Taras (Carla) and Carl Taras (Diane). He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
Having been a kidney transplant survivor for 42 years the family wishes in lieu of flowers that contributions be made in memory of Dennis to the Kidney Foundation of Ohio, 2831 Prospect Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44115 or the St Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
