He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marie (Mitchell); his children, David Placko Jr. (Linda), Deborah Houdek (Chris) and Cynthia Nelson (Kirk); his grandchildren, Christopher Houdek (Casey), Zachary Houdek (Tiffany), Courtney Houdek, David Placko (Alexis), Samantha Noto (Nick) and Jaden Nelson; his great grandchild Callahan Houdek; and his siblings, James Placko and Janice Oleksiak (Art).
