He was predeceased by: his father Richard Marion "Dick" Clifton; his grandchildren, Braylon, Brantley and Anna Lynn Rains; and his brother-in-law Mark Nickell.
He is survived by: his mother Anna M. Clifton (Colwell) of Mt; his wife Joan Clifton (Nickell); his children, Jaime Rains (Jake), Lindsay Lovelace (Ray) and Marion R. Clifton II (Felicia); his grandchildren, Kylee, Faith, Brett, Evan, Ryder, Mayzie and Sloan; his brothers, Tom Clifton (Coletta), Larry Clifton (Jennifer) and Barry Clifton (Tonia); his parents-in-law, AC and Ann Nickell; and his brother-in-law Chris Nickell (Melinda). He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
