He was predeceased by: his father Edward George; his stepchildren, Michael Morgan, Brian Morgan, Crystal Singlar and Jeff Morgan; and his brother James Runte.
He is survived by: his wife Janet; his stepdaughters, Teresa Morgan of Camp Denison and Rose Wilson (Donald) of Hamersville, Ohio; and his grandchildren, Danielle, Jennifer, Alyssa, Ivory and Shelby. He is also survived by his 10 great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
