He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Saylor and Ada Saylor (Alexander); and his siblings, Lucy Boggs, Elva Northern, Bill Saylor, Goldie Harrison, Jewel Bowling and Lona Schuler.
He is survived by: his wife Vessie Saylor (Jones); his daughters, Rebecca Nelson (Tim) and Alva Wright (David); his grandchildren, David Nelson (Lisa), Timothy Nelson (Kristen), Matthew Nelson, Sarah Droulias (Josh), Tristan Wright, Evan Wright and Kelsey Tiley (Austin); and his great grandchildren, Shawn, Ella, Drew, Lucy, Jake and Caroline. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Christian Life Center or Hospice of Dayton.
